Vivienne's Story

Meet Vivienne!

Vivienne’s rescue story is one of courage and hope. For weeks, this little girl was seen wandering around an apartment complex parking lot — too scared to let anyone near her. Thankfully, Hope For Paws stepped in and safely captured her, bringing her to CARES where we took over her care and began earning her trust.

When she arrived, Vivienne was terrified of everyone and everything, but beneath that fear, we could see a gentle and curious spirit waiting to shine. She was in good health and has since been spayed and fully vetted.

Vivienne is a 1-year-old, 9-pound long-haired Chihuahua mix who’s as sweet, shy, and mellow as they come. She loves to relax on the couch, quietly observing her surroundings, and is slowly learning that people can be kind and safe. While she’s cautious at first, her curiosity always wins out.

She’ll need a patient, loving home willing to give her the time and space she needs to build trust. When the time comes for her adoption, our trainer/behaviorist will help guide Vivienne’s transition into her forever home to ensure she feels supported every step of the way.

If you have a calm home and an open heart for a tender soul ready to blossom, Vivienne is waiting for you.
