Vivi's Story

When Vivi first came to us, she had been on the run for over a week, covering miles around town before a dedicated community member helped us finally bring her to safety. She arrived skinny, covered in scars, and with her teeth nothing but nubs, signs of a past we can only imagine.

Despite it all, Vivi is incredibly loving. She’s blossomed into a sweet cuddle bug who adores attention, treats, chasing a ball, and being close to her people. She’s gentle with kids and has done well with other dogs (though a meet and greet is always needed).

She does have some resource guarding with other dogs, so feeding separately is best but that’s a small, manageable quirk for such a loyal girl.

Vivi is our resident love bug and has been a visitor, volunteer and employee favorite. She deserves a family and a soft bed to call her own.

We are unsure about how she lived previously, but she knows to potty in her outdoor kennel, so we have full faith that with a little patience and understanding that she’s learning a new routine, we think she would know to potty outside.
