This little angel is Vissla! Vissla was found as a stray puppy in Puerto Rico and hitched a flight to Colorado with a volunteer to find her forever home. It's a good thing she's here, as she was born to be a Colorado dog. <br/><br/>While very cuddly and affectionate, Vissla has already earned the nickname 'Tiny Tornado' as she loves to run and play with her foster parents and her four-legged foster siblings! She can always be counted on to start a game of chase in the yard, and you can always hear her coming as she prefers to sprint down hallways and across rooms rather than walk. We don't blame her, she has places to be! <br/><br/>Vissla is working hard on potty training. She walks well on her leash, and she loves toys. She sleeps through the night in her crate, but she likes to get a chance to snuggle in bed with her foster mom before starting the day. <br/><br/>Vissla is an outgoing pup - she does well meeting new people of all ages, and loves other dogs. She hasn't met a cat yet, but we have no doubt she'll get along with them, especially if they want to play with her! <br/><br/>Vissla is not yet spayed and still needs to finish her vaccine cycle, but she is available as a foster-to-adopt. This is when a future owner takes over as the foster, and once all the adoption criteria are met, they complete the process!<br/><br/>Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds, some chihuahua, some pit, and you name it! They are always loving and grateful.<br/>We do not know what breed Vissla is, possibly a lab mix, but a very petite one! Whatever she is, it's a cute combo. We anticipate she will grow into a small/middle-sized adult, possibly around 25-35lb, but of course, they do sometimes surprise us!<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out the application here.
