Violet's Story
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.

Violet is a delightful Chihuahua Mix, 4 years old (born September 7, 2020) and a petite 10 pounds.

Violet is a lively, affectionate girl with a stunning seal coat who is super adorable and charming!

She looks like a sleek black dog at first glance, but catch her in the right light and a rich, warm brown shows through. At just 10 pounds, she's small in size but big in personality!

Violet is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. She's fully housetrained and does great on a regular schedule, no accidents when kept on track.

She recently attended the Waggin' Wild 5K, where she had a blast meeting new people and other dogs, showing off just how social and adaptable she is.

Violet is good with other dogs and did well around children at the event. We'd recommend a home with older children, as she can get a little mouthy when excited and playful — she means no harm, it's just her enthusiasm showing!

Violet has not been cat tested, but we think she'd likely do fine with a dog-savvy indoor cat who knows how to hold their own.

This girl is fast and has plenty of energy so a securely fenced yard or a consistent exercise routine is a must to keep her happy and safe.

At the end of the day, Violet would love nothing more than to sleep in the bed with her humans. She does settle well at night in a cozy dog bed in her pen, but don't be surprised if she lobbies hard for an upgrade.

Her absolute favorite thing? Curling up on your belly while you watch TV.
Her favorite toys are soft and squeaky, and when she's really excited, she'll let you know with her signature high-pitched bark.

Violet is ready to find her forever home — could it be yours?

Violet is sponsored by our Advocate Partner, A Special Friend to LPPNC

Adoption donation $325

Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range.
