Meet Violet Beauregarde! <br/><br/>Unlike the Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka, our Violet is about as sweet as they come.<br/><br/>At just around a year old and 50 pounds, this gorgeous shepherd mix somehow became the longest resident at the shelter before making her way to The Misfit Ranch. We honestly can't explain whybecause everyone who meets her falls in love.<br/><br/>Violet is the total package. She's friendly with everyone she meets, loves other dogs, does well with cats, and is wonderful with kids. Her foster family absolutely adores her and says she's one of those dogs who makes herself right at home in your heart.<br/><br/>Like any young dog, Violet has plenty of playful energy. She loves to run, wrestle, chase her dog friends, and occasionally show off a case of the zoomies. Because she's still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm, she can sometimes get a little jumpy. The good news? She's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and already doing an amazing job with potty training. With a little continued guidance and consistency, we expect her puppy antics to settle beautifully as she matures.<br/><br/>One of Violet's favorite things is showing off the adorable tricks she's learned. She loves working with her people, and watching her proudly perform for treats or praise is guaranteed to make you smile. When playtime is over, she's just as happy to curl up for snuggles with the people she loves.<br/><br/>We think Violet would thrive with an active family that enjoys getting outside and giving her room to stretch those long legs. Bonus if you have a pool thats violet's favorite activity. Don't have a pool no worries we are sending violet home with her very own kiddie pool! She'd especially love another playful dog who enjoys roughhousing as much as she does. Because she's a bigger youngster with lots of enthusiasm, she'll do best with a confident owner who can continue helping her become the amazing adult dog we already know she's going to be.<br/><br/>Violet has waited long enough for someone to choose her.
