Violet's Story
Violet's story is one we won't soon forget
She came to us in heartbreaking condition-found running loose, extremely pregnant, and clearly neglected. Within just 48 hours of arriving at the shelter, Violet gave birth to her puppies right in her kennel. Thankfully, all of her babies have since found loving homes... but Violet is still waiting.
Now, over 245 days later, this resilient girl is more than ready for her own fresh start. Shelter life has been tough on her, and she's put on some weight during her stay, now nearing 70 lbs. What Violet truly needs is a home where she can finally relax-a quiet environment where she doesn't have to worry about the stress of the outside world.
Violet would do best as the only animal in the home, as she can be reactive to other dogs, especially on leash. A fenced yard or private space to stretch her legs would mean everything to her.
Through everything she's been through, Violet's biggest wish is simple: to be someone's best friend. After giving so much, it's finally her turn to be chosen
