Hi, I’m Violet! 💜🐾 I’m a 7–8 month old mixed-breed girl with a gentle heart and a shy, sweet personality. I didn’t get out much before coming here, and the only dogs I really knew growing up were my two sisters—so I’m still learning how fun the world can be! I’ve discovered that I really like calm, polite dog friends who help show me how to be a happy, carefree pup. My potty training is going great since arriving at the shelter, and I’m getting braver every day! I’m dreaming of a forever home with a cozy bed, kind humans, and lots of love. I promise to be the most loyal, cuddly family member you could ask for! 🥰

Hurricane Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are by APPOINTMENTS only, if interested in an available animal please call the shelter during our open hours: Monday- Friday 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM & Saturdays 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM. Dog Adoption Fees are $60 and that includes vaccines, spay or neuter, and a microchip. Cat Adoptions Fees are $50 which includes vaccines and a spay or neuter. An adoption contract must be completed and checked by a shelter attendant prior to adoption approval. Adoption contracts are available at the shelter.
