Meet Viola! <br/><br/>Some dogs arrive with a kind of tired grace, as though they’ve spent too long holding themselves together. Viola is one of them. Surrendered alongside her dog siblings, she came to us with a body that tells the truth even when people don’t: a behind matted with feces, knees that slip where they should hold steady, and a soft murmur in her small, determined heart.<br/><br/>And yet: she is luminous. <br/><br/>Viola greets every person as if they’ve been her friend forever. She leans into hands without hesitation, let the dogtor examine her with gentle patience, and wanders toward anyone whose posture whispers they might offer a touch.
