Vinny

Vinny is a 6-year-old mixed-breed marvel of tail-wagging awesomeness. With 6 breeds in his DNA mix (including Chihuahua and German Shepherd), he’s basically a canine cornucopia.<br/><br/>Vinny’s got a streak of stubbornness—he calls it “strategic negotiating." We believe that he needs an adopter who is a strong leader that can manage the stubborn breeds of which he is comprised.<br/><br/>Beneath his layer of stubbornness, he loyal, clever, housetrained, crate-trained, and an all-around great dog. He would do well on his own or with another confident dog who can show him the ropes. Vinny does not enjoy kitties--or maybe the kitties would not enjoy him--either way, they're not a good idea.<br/><br/>He does have a cherry-eye. According to our vet, monitoring is currently the only course of action since it is not large, prominent and does not bother him.<br/><br/>Vinny is food motivated (he is portly and we are working on getting him to lose a few pounds) and loves positive reinforcement. <br/><br/>Vinny would do best in a home with adults or older respectful kids. (Sorry, no small children or young grandchildren for this cool dude.)<br/><br/>Vinny is being fostered in South Jersey.<br/><br/>Our adoption process ensures every dog finds a safe, committed home. <br/><br/>If approved, the applicant must be willing to travel to Cumberland County, New Jersey to meet the dog.
