Est. DOB: 12/29/25<br/><br/>Est Adult Weight: Above 50lbs<br/><br/>Vinny<br/>was discovered as a very young puppy after being abandoned at a gas station outside Houston. Despite his rough start, he’s a happy, loving little guy with a bright personality. With his wispy whiskers, we think<br/>Vinny<br/>may have some Schnauzer or another bearded breed mixed in with his shepherd heritage.<br/>Vinny<br/>is incredibly smart and very motivated by treats, which makes learning new tricks easy for him. He already knows sit, wait, off, and fetch (about 90% of the time!) and enjoys continuing to learn. He’s also great at entertaining himself with his toys when he has some alone time.<br/><br/>Vinny<br/>loves being around his people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even his foster cat. He’s doing very well with house training, though like any dog, he may need a little time to adjust when settling into a new home.<br/><br/>Due to Vinny's young age we are looking for a home where someone is home most of the time and any children are over the age of 5.<br/><br/>Please consider making this handsome boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. This can be found on our website at<br/>https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1<br/><br/>$200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed, age, and size categorizations are estimates.<br/><br/>If transporting out of state to available locations, the total adoption cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes.
