Vince Gill's Story

Meet Vinnie – Your New Best Friend

Vince has weathered a lot in his ten years. He was rescued from a heartbreaking outdoor hoarding situation in Texas, where he lived among more than 40 other chihuahuas. After being transported to Michigan, Vince had all but 4 teeth removed, tested positive for heartworm and began a rigorous three-month treatment. While fighting the illness, he also had to learn what it meant to live inside a home—something entirely new to him.

Despite his rough start, Vince slowly warmed up to his foster siblings, including the resident cats. It took nearly five months before he felt safe enough to initiate play. Having never been on a leash before, Vince is still learning the ropes—literally. He struggles with anxiety, often trembling in unfamiliar situations, and wears a belly band indoors. The good news? If he's wearing it, he won't have accidents or mark.

Vince may be a senior, but his heart is full of hope and he loves his people. If you can offer him a soft spot on the couch or a warm lap to curl up in, he'll repay you with quiet gratitude and unconditional love.

Due to the number of inquiries received from PetFinder and sites alike, we do not have the capacity to reply to them. Bottle Babies Rescue's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based rescue and require a adoption application submitted to us before any meet and greets are scheduled. Please keep in mind we get an overwhelming number of applications for each animal and we review applications in the order they are received. If you are approved, you will receive an email from us and a volunteer will follow up with a phone call to schedule a time to meet the animal and finalize the adoption. It's important you provide contact information for your landlord (if you rent), parents (if you live with them) and vet (if you have pets already). Omitting this information will slow down the review process and/or force us to skip over your application. All of our babies are spayed & neutered, Micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, Felv Fiv & heartworm tested. They will also be up to date on their flea meds, before they can go to their new homes. We highly recommend socialization and obedience training for all puppies. Every home is chosen according to the needs and temperament of the individual fur baby, we like to ensure they thrive in their home environment. If you are not chosen for a certain fur baby this does not disqualify you from applying for another animal in our care.
