Villy's Story

Meet Villy. She came to us from a high intake shelter where she was timestamped because of her behavior. She was on guard, scared and didn't hesitate to let people know she had boundaries. After a bit of time, she became a great dog. She is housebroken, crate trained, likes other dogs, but no small kids or cats. She's a petite girl at around 35lb and we believe a rottweiler mix. She takes a while to warm up and has stranger danger but once she knows you, she is extremely loyal to those she loves. She resource guards so a home with experience is a must. She needs a home that has rottie/ guardian breed savvy people who know how to handle a pooch like her. One with low traffic. She loves routine and the stricter the better. Staff adore her and she has come a long way, but she needs a forever or foster home. If interested, please fill out an application on our website AACNJ.ORG

Animal Adoption Center's Adoption Policy
Adopting a new dog or cat is an important decision! We're ready to do whatever it takes to help you find your perfect match. Here's how to start: Stop by our facility to see who we have available. Complete an adoption application and meet our friendly staff. Schedule a meet for you, your potential new friend, and anyone else who might be sharing your space, like family, friends, kids, other pets. Once approved, pay the adoption fee (covers microchip, spay/neuter, and vaccinations) and take your new companion home!   We'll be there to help every step of the way, and we'll call after a week or so to see how you're both doing. AAC wants your match to last forever! Our adoption fees vary, while we believe that all of out pets are awesome, we recognize that some breeds are more desirable than others, therefore, those fees may be higher, that gives us the resources to help our medical cases and promotes our harder to place pets. All pets come spayed/neutered, up to date vaccines and microchip.
