Viggo's Story

Viggo is a 1½-year-old, 16-pound Corgi mix who came to Argos from a shelter in northern New Mexico. When he first arrived, he was very shy; however, with time, love, and lots of gentle encouragement in his foster home, Viggo has blossomed into a happy little dog who now greets life with growing confidence.

Viggo has slight vision and hearing impairments, but they don’t slow him down. He would do best as an only dog and no small kiddos in the home.

Currently, Viggo is undergoing heartworm treatment and is doing well. We expect a full recovery and can’t wait to see him continue to thrive in a loving forever home. This sweet, resilient boy is ready for the next chapter of his journey — one filled with kindness, companionship, and the comfort of belonging.

If interested in meeting Viggo please submit the online application found on our website www.argosdogrescue.org.
