Vida's Story

Hi there! My name is Vida, and I’m a 50-lb 8 month old Husky/Shepherd mix with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a love for soaking up the sunshine.

I’ve been through a lot early in life. I was found tied up in an abandoned backyard with my sister, and sadly, she passed away from parvo. Even with that rough start, I’ve grown into an affectionate, adventurous girl who’s ready to embrace the good life and all the love it has to offer.

Here’s the good news: I’m a very good girl. I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, and I walk beautifully on a leash—no wild pulling here. I love playing with toys and going for walks, especially if they end with me stretching out in the sun for a nice nap.

I’m friendly, playful, and affectionate, and I’d thrive in a home with:

A fenced-in yard where I can safely explore and relax

Another dog to keep me company and play with

An active owner, preferably someone who works from home so we can spend lots of time together

I’m spayed and ready to start my next chapter with a family who will cherish me as much as I’ll cherish them. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul and an adventurous side, I might just be your perfect match.

My adoption fee is $450, which covers my vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.

Do I sound like your new best friend? 💕

You can fill out an adoption application for me at www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.htm
