Vida's Story

Meet Vida - The Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold

Say hello to Vida, a nearly 100-pound sweetheart with a heart just as big as she is! Vida's story began in late January 2025, when a kind family discovered her living alone in the woods behind their home. She had no collar, was underfed, and though a bit shy at first, she quickly showed her friendly and loving nature.

Since being rescued, Vida has absolutely blossomed. She's gained healthy weight, received all her vaccines, and has been spayed and microchipped. She's a smart girl too- kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows some basic commands. Most of all, Vida loves people and soaks up every bit of attention and affection she can get.

While the wonderful family who found her has fallen completely in love, Vida isn't getting along with one of their resident dogs. She's done great playing with other dogs at parks and with the family's other two pups, but she's decided this particular dog just isn't her friend, and that's okay! Vida would do best as either an only dog, or in a home where she can meet and approve of her canine companions first. With her big heart, gentle nature, and loving personality, she's sure to bring warmth, loyalty, and endless joy to her forever family.

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your days with love and tail wags, Vida is waiting to meet you. To schedule a meet and greet with Vida, please contact Jeremy at 407-508-4961.

Disclaimer: All pets posted and adopted through Neighborhood Pets are not members of Paws Humane Society.
