Victor's Story

Meet Victor!

Victor is a one-year-old, 15-lb mixed-breed sweetheart with the cutest little smile! At the shelter he was labeled a Chihuahua mix, but we see a tiny German Shepherd vibe. Mostly though, he just looks like a little happy fox!

Victor is a sweet boy who can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up he turns into a playful, goofy companion. He loves toys, is cat friendly, enjoys playing with other pups his size, and is a potty-training superstar with zero accidents in his foster home. Just a heads-up: hide your Crocs and flip-flops. Victor is a certified Croc fiend.

Victor came to us from Texas after a rough start. He was hit by a car earlier in life and did not receive proper treatment at the time, so his spine healed on its own. The good news is that Victor has fully recovered. He walks normally, is healthy and active, and loves to play. He does have a slight hunchback, which inspired his name, short for Victor Hugo, author of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Victor also has a condition called paraphimosis. In simple terms, this means that his penis can occasionally remain visible. He has already undergone corrective surgery, but it may still be noticeable at times. This condition does not cause Victor any pain or limit his quality of life in any way. It is purely cosmetic. If needed, he can comfortably wear a belly band or a sweater to help keep the area protected.

Victor is neutered, and up to date on core vaccinations and preventatives. Victor is looking for a loving home that can see past his minor special needs and appreciate him for the happy, resilient little dog he is. In return, Victor promises a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and fox-like charm.
3/20/26 3:31 PM
