Verna's Story

Meet Verna

This beautiful mamma has had quite the life journey, but she is beyond ready to to find her forever home. Verna arrived in her foster home full of love and great energy... oh and unknowingly pregnant!

Verna was surrendered with her puppy, Perry (who is also available for adoption with us). And then to our surprise, she has another baby in her foster home--Penny! She has given birth twice in 6 months, but no more. She is now spayed and ready to be someone's greatest companion.

Verna loves to play, run, and snuggle.

Verna is about 2 years old and a small breed dog around 12lbs. She is wise beyond her years. She is kennel and house trained.

Verna is little and *looks* like the perfect apartment dog, I promise you she is not. Her favorite hobby is to watch TV with you and warn you of any dog that might jump out of the TV. Although it is absolutely hilarious, your neighbors might not thing so. She'd prefer a home with no shared walls

She love people, kids, and every dog she has met. She is very curious about the cat in her foster home, but the cat won't give her the time of day.

Her fosters say they have never fostered a dog like Verna, her personality is too good to be true, her love is unwavering, and her cuddles are endless! Apply at adoptapal.org/adopt to meet her

Adoption fee is $450 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and a month of free pet insurance.
