She is one of those rare puppies who looks picture-perfect in every moment, and her foster family (and the entire rescue) happily admits we are more than a little obsessed with her.<br/><br/>Her breed mix is a mystery, but based on her appearance and the look of her littermates, we suspect there may be some “Cowboy Corgi” (Heeler and Corgi) in her genetics. There are certainly other breeds sprinkled in as well, creating the unique and beautiful little girl she is. Venus is the smallest in her litter, but she has the biggest personality—confident, curious, and absolutely full of charm.<br/><br/>Venus has an incredibly sweet and polite temperament. If puppies could say “please” and “thank you,” she would be the one leading by example. She has found a special comfort in the larger dogs in her foster home and takes every opportunity to snuggle up against them. She enjoys being near others and has a naturally gentle, respectful way of fitting into the group.<br/><br/>She is very well socialized and does wonderfully with other dogs, children, and cats. Venus is brave, steady, and not easily intimidated. Her combination of confidence, sweetness, and resiliency makes her an excellent candidate for many types of homes, including families with other pets.<br/><br/>Venus is currently being fostered in Kenosha, WI, and is waiting for her perfect forever family.
