Venus's Story
Meet Venus, the happiest survivor dog in the world! Venus is all love! Her smile is self charging. Her tail is in perpetual helicopter mode. Her spirit radiates optimism. All of this, despite having been hit by a car and dragged before being dumped at the shelter.

Venus's accident left her with an adorable, signature wonky walk. Her injury doesn’t slow her down and never seems to stop Venus from enjoying life. The shelter listed her to be killed nonetheless. Thankfully Venus was saved in her final moments. Except now she is stuck in boarding. This beautiful, loving girl desperately needs her forever home.

Venus is so ready for her happily ever after! 50 pounds, around three years old, she's trained and non-reactive to other dogs on leash. Her heel and place commands are tight! She's happy in the crate and the car. She's very treat motivated and super easy on leash. Venus requires very little. She needs to hear the soft hum of a real home -- a background TV, family phone calls, the music of dishes and friendly voices, and, most of all, she needs the touch of a caring, loving human. She says she'd like a nice dog bed, too. One that will make her forget about her past and only live in the now from then on. In return, Venus vows to spread joy wherever she goes. Watching this little angel wiggle her funky hips will make you smile just like Venus.

If interested in fostering or adopting Venus,
PLEASE CALL OR TEXT: (213)-445-4466
IN THE INTEREST OF TIME PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL.
