Velvet is a female, 58 lb., cream Heeler/Lab mix. Her estimated date of birth is May 27, 2022. Velvet is a former ARFie who was returned to us through no fault of her own. Her adoptive parents split up and basically neither one wanted her. She is is on a diet now to shed a few pounds. She is still our lovable Velvet - friendly to everyone and sometimes just a little too excitable. We are working on some training with her; especially leash walking. She will need to go to a dog-savvy owner who can continue her training and let her know who is the boss!
