She may be shy when meeting new people, but she quickly reveals her sweet and affectionate nature once she feels comfortable. Velma is also very intelligent--she already knows how to sit and will happily show off her good manners when offered a treat.<br/><br/>She has a bit of a mischievous side and is quite the "Houdini," with an impressive ability to climb fences. Because of this, Velma will need a securely enclosed yard with at least a 6-foot fence. She is also best suited to a home without cats.
