Hi - my name is Velma! I am the last of a litter of puppies dubbed "the Scooby Doo crew" looking for my forever home! I am currently about 18 weeks old and weigh about 26 pounds; I am up to date on all her vaccines and already spayed. While we can't be certain, the rescue is guessing I'll be about 40-50 pounds when fully grown. My foster mom thinks I am some sort of black lab/pit/whippet mix, I have a very long and lean frame and can run super fast! I loved racing around with my littermates. <br/><br/>I was rescued from Alabama with three other littermates, but have quickly adjusted to life here in New Jersey! My foster mom says I am making great strides with my house breaking and am doing well with walking on a leash. I also love to sunbathe and stretch my legs out on the back deck and going out investigating in the yard.<br/><br/>I absolutely love the other dogs and puppies in my foster home and would be great with energetic kids (who don’t mind being jumped on) as well!<br/><br/>Applicants must live within 60 minutes of Hamilton, NJ 08690 to be considered. A vet check will be conducted for each application and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified. All current animals in the home must be up to date on vaccinations and preventatives prior to the vet check.
