Velma's Story

Meet Velma, our senior pittie! Velma was found as a stray and never reclaimed. She is approximately 9-10 years old. Velma is such a funny and loving girl. You get her in a bed and she snoozes for the whole day! Don't count out all the playtime, she gets zoomies every once in a while! Velma is good with all people (including kids). She also gets along well with cats. She can be dog friendly, but prefers to be an only. If dogs give her enough space and are calm, she can live with them.

Apply to meet Velma today: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRIN/Dog

Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy
We place companion animals in loving, responsible, committed homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. Our adoption fees vary because of the breed size, and normal vet cost. This is intended to cover the costs of having the animal fully vetted and the costs of caring for the animal prior to placement in a home. Many of the animals we help have veterinary costs which are much higher than the adoption fee. For these animals, we rely on donations and small fundraisers to offset those costs.
