Velma's Story

Meet Velma, a 6 year old 55 pound petite Lab mix with a heart as big as her smile! This sweet girl is potty trained, enjoys all the treats, and loves lounging on the couch just as much as she loves her daily walks. She's done great living with other large dogs and has shown patience and adaptability once given time to settle in. Velma would thrive in a calm home with a patient, experienced adopter-preferably without cats-and would do best with older, respectful kids. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who enjoys snuggles and strolls, Velma might be your perfect match!

Age: 6

Breed: Lab Mix

Weight: 56 lbs

Kid-friendly: Recommend older considerate children

Dogs: Yes

Cats: Recommend a home without cats, as she loves to chase them.

Crate trained: Yes

Potty trained: Yes

Health concerns: Has mild allergies, taking OTC Benadryl to help

Current medications & estimated costs: OTC Benadryl

Adoption fee: $375

As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us.
