Vanellope's Story

Hi, I'm Vanellope! I'm a SUPER sweet, SUPER playful, and SUPER loving girl! My best home is one that is very active so I can get lots of exercise and keep my mind busy. I love being outside, playing with tennis balls, getting butt pats, and being around people. I love to try and shove as many tennis balls in my mouth as I can. I walk very well on a leash and love car rides! My previous home said I do well with other dogs, however, my best home is one with no other pets. I do not like sharing my toys and food, and can get possessive over it. I do not tolerate nail trims and need to be sedated for them. Due to these things, I would prefer an experienced dog home with no small children. I promise I'm the sweetest girl ever, and will make someone the best friend you can ever ask for! Come meet me, I promise you will love me!

Great River Rescue's Adoption Policy

Cat Prices: $106.60 +tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (feline distemper), de-worming, flea/ear mite treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination from our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15. Dog Prices: $208.57 + tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (canine distemper & Bordetella), de-worming, flea/tick treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination with our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15.
