One-year-old Van Greta’s journey began as a stray, finding herself overwhelmed and frightened at the shelter. Her luck turned around when she went to a foster home and learned the joys of companionship and being cherished. At the same time, we learned so much about Greta's passions and behaviors during her weeks in the foster home. She LOVES chasing and retrieving balls, going on walks, and gnawing on sturdy toys. Most of all, she enjoys cuddle time (the closer, the better) and politely shadows her human around the house. Velcro would be a good nickname. This gentle soul is a model guest, fitting easily into daily routines and finding comfort in her crate at night. Greta got along with the resident dog and interacted periodically with other dogs. She has a strong prey drive.
Van Greta will do best in a quiet, calm, predictable environment with someone who has a fenced yard for potty breaks and who is looking for a faithful, sweet, and smart doggy companion.
