Valentine wants to be your furever, daily Valentine. She earned her name not only because she is as sweet as chocolate, but she entered the rescue on February 14th. <br/><br/>Valentine was found running the streets and although her previous owner was located, the owner did not want her back, as it was too much bother to stop her from escaping. Her finder thought about keeping her, but knew Valentine needed a family who could give her all the love and attention her heart desired. <br/><br/>She is almost two years old and weighs about 10 pounds. We believe she is a shih-tzu mix. <br/><br/>Valentine seeks out human attention, loves to be held, and puts all four paws up in the air for belly rubs. She sleeps in the bed with her foster parents, and tells us she wants a family who allows the same. <br/><br/> She loves to play with toys; both squeaky toys, hard chews, and rope toys. Valentine ignores the cats in her foster home and gets along with all dogs, ranging in size from a small Poodle to pocket Great Dane. <br/><br/>Valentine is adorable when she has the zoomies and races around the back yard at full speed! Her foster family reports she hasn't tried to escape once and she doesn't try to door dash either. <br/><br/>She loves treats, doesn't mind being dressed up, and is housebroken.
