He is a short chunky guy and we are working on a little weight loss for this cutie! He is 7yoa and is a gentle easy going guy. He is crate trained and potty trained. He is hw negative and up to date on all shots. He prefers easy going atmosphere and gentle playing. He is dog friendly to both male and female dogs but prefers not hyper and not puppies and don't hump him either- I don't blame him! He prefers walks and cuddling time but no hikes. He could be an only dog or have an easy going buddy. He would be perfect for home body couple or single person that is looking for a companion that just wants to chill eat, maybe a walk or two, potty, and settle in for a movie on Friday night on the couch with his favorite humans. He does well with humans men and women. Children are okay if they are older and don't harass or jump all over Vader!
Vader deserves a loving home to spend his years with a loyal family and he will be the best companion!

On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same. Thank you so much for your valuable support in helping these dogs find loving homes.

Adoption Process:

Step 1: Submit Application
Step 2: Group Text with Foster/Rescuer
Step 3: Virtual Home Visit Meet and Greet with Sidekick (if available)

Step 4: Reference check

Step 5: Board Approval & Adoption Contract

Step 6: Final Details, Adoption Contribution & Transport

The adoption contribution covers the cost of transport. Abby Road Rescue Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Submitting your application – that's Step 1 Step 2: Group Text Introduction We’ll start a group text chat with the dog’s foster or rescuer. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get to know more about the dog. If you'd like, we can also set up a video meet-and-greet through our phones for a more personal connection. Step 3: Virtual Home Visit We'll schedule a Google Meet or FaceTime call to virtually tour your home. We'll need to see common living areas and the yard—no need to show bedrooms. Please have a piece of mail with your address visible during the call. After this step I will call your references. Step 4: Adoption Contract Once everything checks out, I’ll submit your application to the board along with my recommendation for approval. While the final decision is up to them, they typically go with my recommendation. Step 5: Final Details This step includes a conversation about ownership, adoption fees, any applicable deposits, and transport arrangements (if needed) could be 5-30 days depending on time frame.
