Utah's Story

Utah came from the streets of Phoenix, where he endured what appeared to be injuries from an attack from another dog. <br/><br/>With a rough start, he held no grudges! Utah is a friend to all! He does great with dogs and cats, and is the first to back away if another dog is being too intense. He’s got a tough looking exterior, but is a softy at heart. <br/><br/>Utah was built for adventures! He’s off leash trained, and knows all basic obedience. He’s a compact little guy that is an easy fit for a weekend adventure, or a spot next to you on the couch for movie night! <br/><br/>He is a sensitive little boy with a deep soul. Utahs perfect home would be a family that is active and outgoing. Yelling and loud voices really make him nervous. While he’s an active guy, someone with calm energy is going to be his  best fit.

Paw Promise Animal Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
All prospective adopters are required to complete an adoption application or share some details about themselves. Following this, we will arrange a meet & greet between the family and the pet. A mandatory home check will then be conducted. Once the home check is complete, an adoption agreement must be signed. Adoption fees range from $50 to $400 and must be paid when the adoption is finalized. Each adoption includes a 2-week trial period. If things don’t work out, the adoption fee is fully refundable. After the 2-week trial, while we are always happy to take back any of our dogs, the adoption fee will have already been invested in the care of other animals.
