Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services is open for adoptions Monday's thru Friday’s from 9am to 4:30 p.m. Saturday's adoption hours are 9am to 4pm. Dogs / Puppies: $67 Cats / Kittens $10 (2 FOR $15) Rabbits: $25 MICROCHIPPING Microchipping for dogs and cats is offered during adoption center business hours. The cost is $25 & includes registration. Dogs must be on leash, and cats must be in carriers. PAYMENTS JPAWS no longer accepts cash for transactions. Only money orders, personal checks, debit cards & credit cards are accepted. There is a nominal processing fee for debit/credit card transactions. VOLUNTEERING To volunteer on an on-going basis working with animals, please email JPAWS@jeffparish.gov.
