Unicorn's Story
Unicorn is favorite at the Mixed Mutts rescue. She was born here after her mom arrived and gave birth to 8 puppies. Six of the puppies have been happily adopted and Unicorn has been patiently waiting for her new family to come along.

She would do well in a variety of homes - a single homebody, an older couple who would love a mellow companion, or even a family with kids. Unicorn is not an adventurous girl, but would rather be home with her people enjoying their company. So if you are looking for a walking or hiking buddy, Unicorn would not be a good choice. She does get along great with all dogs and would love to have a
fur sibling to hang with.

Unicorn can sometimes be a little fearful of men, but with some patience and time she will warm up and learn to be comfortable. Especially if there is a woman in the home to help her along.

She would love to have a yard to run around in and lay in the sun since she prefers not to go for walks or outings. Unicorn is crate trained which will greatly help with her house training. Couch potato accurately describes how Unicorn likes to spend her days, so if you would love a sweet pup to lay around with you, Unicorn definitely fits the bill!
