'Unchained Melody''s Story
This is Melody. She is a beautiful, young mixed breed dog who we think is mostly German Shepherd, about 6 months old. Melody weighs about 60 pounds and has a pretty, shiny black coat We think she is a very pretty girl, inside and out! Despite her neglect, she always had a smile and a wagging tail to greet her visitors as she waited patiently for someone to come and free her from her chain. Melody had lived her first 6 months on a short chain in the front yard. Thankfully, she was set free from the chain that she had on her neck and the pathetic place that she called home. That is how she became our very own “Unchained Melody”.

Melody desperately needs a furever home to call her own. She walks very well on a leash, loves to play fetch and is eager to please. Melody knows the sit as well as the shake commands. We think she's a very smart girl just like most dogs of her breed. Melody also loves swimming and playing with her other foster dogs but does play very rough.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting her, please contact Mary Lynn at marylynnr@sbcglobal.net or 817-223-6907.

Six foot fence, home visit and vet reference required for adoption

Adoption fee is $75
