Tyson's Story

In December of 2022 a group of dogs were taken from a sad and dangerous situation in Flint, MI. Many were puppies who were only weeks old. Some of them came infected with parvo, and many, sadly, did not survive. The survivors went to foster where they have been raised by loving volunteers, until they legally were released to rescues in May of 2023. SCARR was able to rescue 3 of these little pups who are now ready for their forever homes.

Our sweet tan boy Tyson is 5-6 months old, friendly and fun. He’s the perfect mix of cuddly and playful. In the morning or when he’s read for bed, he loves to snuggle with his foster family. During the day he adores playing and being outside. Because he was born into such sad circumstances, and taken away from his mom and siblings too early, we think it best that he be either the only dog or with larger confident dogs who can keep him in line, but he does have cat experience and is very respectful of feline friends. . He’s crate trained, almost completely potty-trained, and is very treat motivated so he’s a quick learner.
