Special for Valentine's Day, the Friends of the Taunton Animal Care Facility will cover Tyson's adoption fee from 2/7 to 2/21. Come and visit Tyson during shelter hours and warm your heart!<br/><br/>Tyson is about 5 yrs old. He will take time to warm up to you. We have found that Tyson does well with women over men. He has had a rough life as he had a very bad skin infection and will need to stay on his meds and special food for his life.

Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
