Tyson's Story

Tyson is a sweet smart guy that would do best in a home with older kids. He just gets way too excited and sometimes that includes him jumping for attention. He is 2 years old and could benefit from some training. But he can definitely sit on command, and is treat motivated! He also gets along well with other dogs.

Pike Animal Welfare Shelter (PAWS)'s Adoption Policy

Each prospective animal adopter is required to sign an agreement in which he or she commits to have the animal spayed or neutered, to keep vaccinations current, to call PAWS first if they are unable to keep the animal, and to provide (dogs) heartworm medicine and annual heartworm tests. PAWS adoption fees are $150 for dogs, $175 for puppies, $100 for senior dogs (5+) or dogs that have been here a year or more, and $50 for cats, $75 for kittens. This fee covers the charge of spaying or neutering of the animal, and vaccinations and microchip. This fee is considered a donation and is non-refundable.
