Seattle Humane: The Humane Society for Seattle/King County's Adoption Policy
Seattle Humane does not currently have an online application process. All adoption interests are fielded on a first come, first serve basis. We ask that people who are interested in adopting one of our pets comes to our shelter, Tuesday-Sunday 12pm-6pm, and speaks to one of our adoption advisors. In keeping the best interests of our shelter pets in mind, we rarely allow holds on a pet. This allows for all of our pets to find their homes and reduces their risk of illness and high-stress levels from being in a shelter environment.
