Meet Twix
Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet and greet with you and Twix.
Twix is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
Meet Twix!
Twix is a 2 year old female, shepherd / husky mix. Twix and her puppies were found living outside a laundromat. A kind Samaritan came across them and gave them a blanket and reached out to us for help. Thankfully, we were able to get momma dog and all of her babies off of the streets and into loving foster homes.
Twix is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find a family to call her own! She currently weighs about 60 pounds.
Twix is dog friendly and currently lives with other dogs! She loves playing in the yard with her doggie foster siblings. We would say she has a moderate energy level. She would make a great running partner for someone, but is also able to settle on the couch for snuggles. She enjoys playing chase with other dogs and loves tug-o-war.
Twix would love a home without cats.
Twix is kid friendly! She's been around children ages 8 and up and has always been sweet towards kids.
Twix is fully potty trained and crate trained. She stays in the crate while her foster mom is away from the home for work and errands.
Twix walks great on a leash! She gets very excited to go on a walk, but once she gets going she'll stay right with you or just ahead of you.
Twix is great about sharing toys, bones and treats with other foster doggies in her home.

Twix is such an amazing, smart and loving dog! She loves to play with people and other dogs. She's super smart, which has made it that much easier when trying to teach her new tricks. She gives you her full attention when playing/training. She's very gentle when taking a treat from you. She LOVES to play fetch and go for runs. She loves meeting new people and is great when people come over to the house. She's extremely sweet and loves to get pets from her humans. She knows "sit" and "shake" or "paw". She's very playful with her doggie friends.
