It is very important when adopting a pet. We become easily frustrated b/c people will EASILY adopt a puppy, but then not train them properly, and need to find another home for them when they are starting to exhibit bad behavior patterns, i.e, biting, jumping, etc. Usually around 3-9 months old. By that time, they are not “cute”, "small", or very “puppy.” It is very important that you go to a dog obedience class with your new pet! This will greatly help them and you learn how to properly teach good habits, instill discipline, and learn effective training techniques. Obedience training also helps older dogs who are going into a new home/environment as well!
