Twinkie's Story
Hey ya’ll! My name is Twinkie and I arrived in Wisconsin a couple weeks ago from Kentucky. Although I’m a southern gal I think I was always meant to be a Wisconsinite because I LOVE the snow!

My foster mom loves to play a game with me where she chases me around in the back yard yelling “It’s time to go inside!” but I know she must be kidding because who would want to be inside when there’s all this snow to play in?!

I have 4 canine foster siblings in my foster home and I love them all! Sometimes they get tired of my puppy antics, but I just give them some space and then try again later! I’m still trying to be friends with the cat but she’s grumpy, so I just steer clear.

I have my very own crate here and it’s my safe place. I love laying in there when the door is open and when it’s time for bed I happily go to sleep and stay nice and quiet all night until it’s time to go potty and eat breakfast.

I’m still working on potty training. Sometimes when ya gotta go, ya gotta go! But I try really hard to go potty every time I go outside.

Foster mom says I’m a really good girl and easy puppy…whatever that means.

I love it here but I’m really hoping for a home of my own soon! The perfect people for me would have a fenced in back yard, and experience with my breed. (I'm a husky after all - if you know, you know!!)

If you think we might be a good match, fill out an application so we can meet! See ya soon!

All puppies are in foster care and are not located in our office. Since all of our puppies are held in private foster homes, we look to have an approved application prior to sending someone to a private residence. If you are interested in adoption, please complete an application. Online applications are located on our H.O.P.E website @ www.hopesafehouse.org.

Upon approval of your application, we will contact you with the foster home phone number to arrange a meet and greet. There is no cost or obligation to apply.

*Basic obedience training classes are required for all puppies at an approved certified training facility of your choice. H.O.P.E. pays $50.00 towards the overall cost of classes. You will be required to leave a $100.00 deposit for training at time of adoption. This deposit is 100% refundable after completing the basic obedience class.

All puppies will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neutered*, microchipped and a 30-day health certificate. *If they are too young to be altered, the fee includes spay/neutered at one of our preferred clinics All pets have a lifetime return policy.

Thank you for your interest.
