Her favorite thing in the world is people - everyone she meets instantly becomes her friend. If you're within reach, you can expect Twinkie to greet you with lots of happy tail wags and plenty of kisses. This little lovebug is a champion snuggler. Twinkie's happy place is curled up next to her person, whether it's on the couch during a movie or tucked under the covers at bedtime. In fact, Twinkie is a professional burrower, she can unmake a perfectly made bed in seconds as she wiggles her way under the blankets to get cozy. Her dream home is one where she can sleep in a bed with her people, because she truly just wants to be close to the ones she loves. Twinkie gets along beautifully with other dogs, both large and small, and enjoys spending time with her foster brother and sisters. She also loves children; they might be her favorite people of all! Her gentle, affectionate personality makes her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a devoted little shadow. She enjoys leash walk, car rides, and exploring the world with her people. At home, Twinkie also loves relaxing in a fenced yard where she can explore and soak up the sunshine. She is house trained, and also crate trained and settles quietly in there when needed. She loves hanging out in the yard and sunning so a fenced yard would be best for her to enjoy that. Twinkie is the perfect mix of affectionate, gentle, and loyal. Lil Rascals Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

To be considered an adopter, you must: The applicant must be 21 years of age or older. The application must have the knowledge and consent of your landlord if you do not own your property. All deposits required by your landlord must be paid prior to the finalization of the adoption. Please note that pet policy will be checked. The applicant must agree to a home check and must live in central Florida where a volunteer can perform the home check. The applicant must take full/complete responsibility for this dog for its lifetime. The applicant must agree to keep your dog on a monthly heart worm and flea preventative. We do not have a central location/facility to visit our animals. Our rescue's animals reside in the homes of our volunteers, and meet and greets are typically scheduled for approved adopters only and by appointment.
