Twilight's Story
Twilight is a great goofy pup who is looking for a patient and loving home! A tri-colored mix boy who was transferred to BCSAVE from another rescue, he originally was surrendered in Lubbock TX, where he and a littermate were thought to be deaf. Turns out he wasn't deaf but did have some serious trust issues. He's still a little timid around new people, but will warm up quickly in a new home.

He has been w/ his current foster for a few years now and is doing great! He does prefers women over men, but is REALLY sweet and a bit of a goober. Once he trusts you, he is lovey-dovey and loves getting scratched all over. His nickname is "Wiggle Booty Buddy" because he's always wagging his tail! He also LOVES to play with other dogs, and handicaps exceptionally well with smaller or younger dogs. He is very treat motivated and loves to swim. He has some hesitation about collars and leashes, but has gotten much more comfortable with touching his collar (though he still needs leash work). He knows the dog door, is house trained, and can be crated. He can hop a four ft. fence so would probably need a higher fence or to stay inside when his family is gone. He is also a cat chaser, so would probably be best in a cat-free home.

The best home for Twilight is one where he can go outside and romp, then inside for love and comfort. He needs some one on one time to learn that leashes aren't bad and walks can be fun. He's smart as a whip, not aggressive at all (even when scared), and is a great boy with a lot of potential. He just needs a home that can see his potential like we do. đŸ¥°
