Meet Tuxie
Meet Tuxie! She's a truly incredible dog. Before we dive into her best qualities, though, lets address what makes it difficult for her to find a long-term foster or adopter. Tuxie is a gal who needs a slow and polite introduction to pup pals. After that, she lets her silly friendly side shine. Also, she doesn't love that hard to interpret, sometimes chaotic energy that toddlers often bring and would be best suited with a family with older or no kids. Lastly, she has been diagnosed with EPI, but wait, don't go, before you decide you don't want a medical dog, listen up! EPI means her pancreas doesn't produce enough digestive enzymes, so she needs a little help with a powered supplement. Its actually very easy to give her and affordable to boot. 1.5 teaspoons are mixed in her food. This also means she can't have treats unless its within 20 mins of eating her meals. Ok, now into what makes her shine:
She loves cuddles with her people
She is such a polite walker on leash
She is a great watch dog and doesn't bark unless she hears concerning sounds
She is equally content watching a movie with you on the couchey as she is gearing up for a multi mile hike
She's very intelligent and picks up on new skills an commands quickly and easily
She will be the most loyal girl once she is given a chance to be your shadow
