Turnip's Story

Meet Turnip, the 11pound little Lipizzaner trapped in a Chihuahua body. This is a philosopher whose head is approximately 60% curiosity about your snacks, 20% cheddar broccoli soup, 10% Very Important Thoughts about the aforementioned snacks.

At 4 years old, Turnip is a gentle, affectionate little guy who likes to take life at a slower pace. He's the kind of dog who pauses to ponder the mysteries of the universe-like "Who Invented Cheese?" or how many treats one small dog should reasonably receive in a day (his answer: infinite). He's curious, sweet, and absolutely convinced he's still a puppy at heart, but not a puppy in action. Hand him a toy-any toy-and he lights up like he just discovered joy for the first time.

Turnip is wonderfully dogfriendly and would love a canine buddy to help him build confidence. He is food & treatmotivated in the most endearing way, which makes training fun, even if his leash manners are still a work in progress. Think of him as a tiny scholar who just needs a patient human to help him finish his thesis on "Why Walk When You Could Be Carried?"

He's sweet, snuggly, and ready to devote his big heart (and big ole head) to someone who appreciates a thoughtful little companion with a mashedpotato soul.

Turnip gets along beautifully with dogs and is genuinely great with humans of all ages. Whether it's kids, adults, or seniors, he's ready to charm them with his soft eyes and potatopowered enthusiasm.

If you're looking for a small dog with huge charm, Turnip is ready to be your favorite side dish.

My adoption fee is $350.00 and includes the following:
-Neuter surgery
-All current vaccinations (Bordetella, DA2PPV, Rabies)
-Microchip
-FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals
-$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
