Turkey's Story

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!
Well, this one practically can! My name is Turkey and I may not actually be able to flap my ears and soar through the air, but I can bounce, BoUnCe, BOUNCE pretty dang high!
I'm as cute as can be, about three years old and thirty pounds. I'm outgoing and funny and athletic, quick to make friends and always up for some playtime! I'm good with other dogs and haven't met cats. I've never met a person I didn't like!
I came in as a stray, so I don't know a lot of details about my history, but that's okay. Beagles aren't exactly known for dwelling on the past or worrying much about the future. We live in the "now!" And right now, I'm a sweet, spunky, energetic little boy who needs the perfect home! Which is why I can't wait to meet you.
So if you want a turkey who can PRACTICALLY fly, come and check me out!
My name is Turkey, I'm about three years old, and I'm neutered, up to date on shots, and fully vetted. I'm available for adoption through
Open Door Animal Sanctuary

If interested please visit odas.org/canine and someone will contact you to schedule your visit.
