Tully's Story
Tully is a sweet, young girl with a gentle soul and a whole lot of love to give. Born around May 13, 2024, she’s still a puppy at heart who thrives on affection, comfort, and being close to her people.

She came to rescue from Carbondale. After treatment for a severe ear infection, Tully made huge progress. She does have residual ataxia, which means she can be a little wobbly at times, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life, cuddles, or being your shadow.

Tully is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows come, sit, and down, with more training in progress. She loves chewing on toys, lick mats, sunny naps, blankets, pillows, and watching the world from the window. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and happiest when she’s near her humans.

Because of her mobility, Tully will do best in a home with minimal stairs and soft flooring like carpet or rugs. She enjoys short walks and low-key outings and prefers a calmer environment where she can feel safe and relaxed. She may need a little help in certain situations, but she gives back tenfold in love. She does have some anxiety at night so finding what works for your family and Tully will be key!

Tully would thrive with someone patient who’s willing to continue her training and help her build confidence. She has lived with another dog and acts like the really annoying little sister LOL! She will need a very tolerant playmate or can be your one-and-only.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who just wants comfort, consistency, and a place to belong, Tully might be your girl. Sometimes the most special dogs are the ones who’ve had to fight a little harder to get here.

Est DOB: 05/13/2024
Apply at rescueapittie.org
