Meet our happy, playful, goofy, friendly Heinz 57 mixed breed litter.<br/>This adorable group of 5 is yet another story of an accidental litter turned into a shelter in KY. According to shelter they are estimated to be 4 months old as of 7/9. Since we have no information on either parent their breed is our best guess according to body structure and appearance. A true Heinz 57 for sure. Some possibilities may include hound of some sort ( there are many types) lab, wired hair terrier or schnauzer, and the list goes on and on. Tugs weight as of 7/10 was 31lbs.<br/><br/>What a fun litter! They are all ready and willing to receive affection in any form from any person willing to offer some.. Of course with all litters there are many personalities. Some are quiet and always ready for a nap while others are looking to get into the next game. Since they are just babies and learning all about the world they live in, you can expect typical puppy behavior. They will need work in housetraining and you can expect them to chew on everything. We believe with training and consistency they will be molded into a great family companion.<br/><br/>TUG ~ I know, I know his sad eyes make you say awww. He really is not sad but I think his sad look is his plan to capture you into his spell. <br/>TUG does like to play with toys and tugging at his foster moms pants is his favorite game of all time. He can be somewhat lazy and never seems to miss an opportunity to catch up on some zzzzz's. In fact its pretty common to find him sound asleep on his back. He is not into the crazy puppy rough housing that sometimes can go on. He has a much larger frame then the others so its possible he will be a large adult. He's a very lovable solid pup. They will need consistency and someone present more often than not to help groom them to be social, have manners, and know the boundaries. We can adopt to those who live out of state, but for puppies we limit the drive time to a 2 hr radius only.<br/>Our adoption fee is $325 and all of our pets come with full vet records. All animals are up to date on vaccinations &amp; dewormed. Unless otherwise indicated, puppies are NOT spayed or neutered since our vet recommends waiting until 6mos of age to do so. Please keep in mind we are a Rescue Group and most of our pups come to us with little or no background info regarding breed, eventual size, age or prior health issues. We rely on the expertise of our veterinarians and make estimates based on past experience. Also, when you're adopting from a Rescue, you should ask questions! You should always get shot/medication records and the rescue should have had the dog for a bit of time to check for disease. Take the time to educate yourself before adopting.
