TUG BOAT's Story

The name is Boat. Tug Boat. Like James Bond, this striking 4-month-old pit bull puppy is quite handsome with his tuxedo coloring. He is the perfect combo of sure and steady with a dash of puppy charm. He is affectionate, enjoys learning new things, and is always up for a game or a cuddle. When it is nap time, he settles down quickly in the crate or exercise pen. He loves his naps and chewing on his Benebone. Tug Boat is doing well with crate training and his puppy schedule. He is already sleeping through the night (as long as the puppy schedule is followed). He's smart and food-motivated. On his before-bedtime walk, he doesn't pull on the leash, and checks in regularly. He takes treats gently and is not overly boisterous. He is learning to play with toys. Tug Boat has met other dogs in his foster home. He has a rough play style and though he loves all people, he is dog selective. Tug Boat has shown to be an adaptable pup. He would thrive in a home that understands puppies need structure, consistency, and patience as they grow. Tug Boat would be a great match for most families given his loving and calm personality, provided that they continue with his training and socialization. PERSONALITY My energy level is ___moderate. I am motivated by ___treats/food. With a good introduction, I can do well with ______some dogs. We are unsure how I will do with ____kids, some dogs, cats.
