Hi, I’m Tuff — but don’t let the name fool you.<br/>I may sound tough, but I’m actually a very shy, sensitive soul who's still learning how to trust the world around me. I came from a feral situation, so everything about living with people is still pretty new and sometimes scary for me. But I’m trying — and I’m getting a little braver every day.<br/><br/>What really helps me feel safe is having another dog around. I love other dogs and feel much more comfortable when I have a confident buddy to show me the ropes. If you already have a dog at home, I’d probably fit right in!<br/><br/>I’m a hound mix weighing around 45 lbs, and I’m still working on walking nicely on a leash and learning my house manners. I’ll need a very patient, gentle human who understands that progress takes time — someone who can help me build confidence at my own pace.<br/><br/>If you have a kind heart, a calm home, and maybe even a dog friend or two, I might be your next loyal companion. All I need is a chance.<br/><br/>Working on house-training. Weighs around 45 lbs.
