Tuff's Story

Meet Tuff, the cutest Red Heeler around. Tuff lost his loving home when the couple divorced. It was with a heavy heart that he was brought to the shelter. The former owner stated that he was a wonderful, sweet dog who caused no issues with anyone or anything. He is well behaved, loves going for walks, car rides but most of all being with his family. He has lived with another larger dog and kids. He has been around cats when visiting with no problem. He seems like such a great dog with his easy going demeanor and his small 34 pound size. Commerce Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

The Commerce Animal Shelter is open Mon - Fri. from 10:00-4:30 for adoptions. We will advertise certain days where we hold special off-site adoption events as well as open Saturdays. Let us know if you would like to schedule a Saturday or Sunday appointment to meet our shelter pets. We would be happy to assist you in your adoption.
