Tucker (Jess-Fostered in New England)'s Story

Meet Tucker!

I’m a sweet 4-year-old Mini Poodle with a big heart and a little extra wiggle in my walk! I was surrendered to a clinic after I started having some back pain and my legs gave out. Luckily, a wonderful rescue and a loving foster family took me in and gave me the time, love, and medicine I needed to heal.

These days, I walk a little funny — my foster mom says I look like I’ve got “sea legs”! But don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt one bit, and I’ve been getting stronger every day.

I’m house trained, crate trained, and I get along great with cats. I prefer calmer dog friends — the super bouncy, in-your-face types aren’t really my vibe. I’m a laid-back guy who loves to chill, though I do enjoy a good game of fetch (you’ll get a kick out of my unique run!).

I’m a quiet companion most of the time, but I’ll bark to let you know if someone’s at the door. I do have a couple of quirks: when I’ve gotta go, I can’t hold it too long, and I sometimes “happy pee” when I get really excited to see my foster mom’s boyfriend — I just can’t help myself!

Oh, and my foster mom says I knead on blankets like a cat — it’s my way of showing I’m comfy and content.

If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, and slightly wobbly little guy to share your home (and your heart), I might just be the one for you. 💛

Tucker is in New England and ready to find his family!! His adoption donation is $500 and that includes a health certificate and transport to New England.

📝 You can fill out an adoption application at
https://angelsamongusanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/
